Dear Teachers,
You are amazing.
How could I ever thank you for your unbridled dedication to teaching?
You probably go through an emotional rollercoaster, physical exhaustion, and mental fatigue because of the endless demands at work. Yet, your resilience, determination, and passion for your profession have risen above the challenges.
I acknowledge that you, too, get tired, especially when you have personal concerns that mix with the demands of teaching. But here you are, thriving, conquering, and doing a great job!
You have carried out the Herculean task of providing our learners with quality education. You have innovated instructional strategies to cater to the learning needs of our individually unique learners.
You have showered our learners with love and compassion, providing them with food and school supplies. You have invested so much in turning your classrooms into class homes—havens of learning and benevolence. After all, charity begins at home.
You have extended your services that transcended your academic responsibilities to socio-civic duties by forging partnerships with parents, partners, advocates, and stakeholders so that we can all build a better future for our learners.
Many have pursued further studies for professional development—a testament to your desire to improve as educators. You are credited for our learners’ achievements. Their learning progress, at any rate, is a product of your grit in making them become better versions of themselves.
I want to honor you, dear teachers, for your relentless service to the entire educational communities where you belong, and to the entire nation. Indeed, your unparalleled service is “para sa bata; para sa bayan.” You deserve all the love and respect in the world.
Happy World Teachers’ Day, teachers! May you continue to serve our learners and our nation in the best way you can.
