NCSC, quo vadis?

Since its creation in 2020, we still have to formally hear from chair Franklin Quijano of the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) regarding his office’s advocacy (vision, mission, plans, and programs) to further improve the well-being of our senior citizens, comprising an estimated population of 12 million Filipinos.

He has been “out-of-touch”/”out-of-sight” for the longest period of two years despite our numerous attempts to touch base with him and/or his office (we do not know where).

It is high time that his alleged “nonperformance” as the chair of the NCSC be exposed by the Senior Citizens Rep. Rodolfo Ordanes in his speech at the House of Representatives.
