Mask should never be removed
The face mask is not just for COVID. It is for all kinds of airborne diseases. Remember, the pandemic is not yet finished and the World Health Organization has declared that COVID is all over the place including the very air we breathe. So the MASK is a MUST to wear!
Likewise, the mask will also be very good protection from airborne particles like particulate matters, carbon dioxide, and sulfuric acid. We are amidst an overly polluted environment coming from the exhaust of motor vehicles and smoky waste products from the factories. These particles go into our nose, to the throat, and into the lungs where they wreak havoc on these delicate tissues. Pollution definitely kills.
Furthermore, there are a lot of irritants and allergens around us: dust, pollens, and a lot more chemical pollutants inundating us and producing allergy.
With these confounding scenarios, our very noses get clogged, continuously discharge mucous, and become irritatingly itchy. We will be clearing our throats often and may persistently cough. Our skin may develop rashes and continuously be reddish. This is now the allergic march, causing and progressing to the killer asthma.
We may never know it, the rest of our body is affected negatively, till we find ourselves desperately lying down in our sick bed and even maybe in our death bed.
So COVID, ALLERGY, and POLLUTION all in one! Shall we then remove our masks?
