Dear newly-elected officials:
Many of you have already taken your oath of office. By June 30 noontime, you will start to discharge your duties and responsibilities as public servants. As such, please do remember the following principles:
Make “public service” your motto.
Obey our laws.
Be good models for our children to emulate.
Make the Constitution always your North Star.
Be responsible for your actions.
Listen to our pleas.
You are accountable to us.
Do not use your office for private gain.
Do not mock God.
Honor your Oath of Office or resign.
I wish you all success in taking up your tasks and responsibilities as our leaders in the country.
