A Filipino journalist told me they first spotted PH-related political disinformation/historical revisionism on social media as early as 2012. In my nearly five years here, I’ve seen hundreds of dodgy posts. With 32 days to go until elections, is this all too little, too late?

The December 2021 simulations that we shared with some officials already show some spike in cases sometime in May-October 2022. Though not as high as previous waves (probably sign of endemicity?). Main reason is waning of immunity. So boosting is important message now.

Unpopular opinion: @Twitter shouldn’t have an edit button. So many implications on responsibility, accountability… if edits need to be made, there is always the delete button and/or erratum posts.

Good news, andami palang tax experts at lexicographers sa Pilipinas, they wasted no time in schooling me with their vast knowledge of tax laws and definitions of elitism. Yun nga lang bad news is they can’t tell what’s fake and what’s not.
