Hail our field reporters

09:38 PM October 06, 2011

In these calamitous times, I thought we should appreciate the work of these people.

We know their names and see their familiar faces on television as they report details of an accident, a fire, a public hearing.

At times, we see them standing under the rain and in the middle of a storm, describing the havoc Mother Nature is wreaking on herself. They may be soaking wet, yet they still deliver the news as it happens without fear of the harm or risk to their lives they face. They are professionals doing what they have to do if only to inform us on what’s the latest about the world around us. They are the news reporters.
