Investigation in aid of covering up Pharmally

/ 04:01 AM October 11, 2021

The “protective custody” provided by the House of Representatives to Pharmally officer Krizle Grace Mago is similar to the “rescue” work done by former housing secretary Mike Defensor for Eugenio “Udong” Mahusay Jr. who was to testify against former first gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo in the “Jose Pidal” controversy. Sen. Ping Lacson was supposed to present Mahusay as his witness, but this was prevented by the “rescue” done by Defensor.

In the Pharmally case, Mago was nowhere to be found after admitting that she agreed with the observation that her company swindled the government. Many senators feared for the safety of the lady executive of Pharmally.

Then suddenly, all were surprised that she sought assistance from the House of Representatives. But not as surprising was her subsequent turnaround from her testimony at the Senate blue ribbon committee. Thus, the House committee on good government and public accountability became a body holding an investigation in aid of covering up the anomalies of Pharmally and possibly the Duterte administration.
