Help sought from Cocofed Pagsanjan

08:59 PM October 05, 2011

Pagsanjan Vice Mayor Crisostomo B. Vilar’s letter titled “How to encourage coconut replanting” (Inquirer, 9/13/11) is quite relevant.

As we see in Laguna, there are numerous stores here selling coco lumber surely sourced from the province.

My brother and I own two-and-a-half hectares of now-idle land located in Barangay Bagumbayan, Sta. Cruz. (It used to be planted to palay, but the irrigation canals that supplied it with water were cut off when some parcels through which the canals passed, were converted tor residential use.)

I write this letter to see if the Cocofed Pagsanjan Chapter, chaired by Vilar, could extend us help.
