Register and vote.

Being able to vote is a privilege.

Every vote counts. The value of your voice is as important as that of the super-rich.

Without your vote, the others who vote also decide about your life — do you want that?

The system of democracy does not work without the voice of the people.

With abstention, you are not making a statement and you allow the others what they want, so you cannot express a protest.

You answer with your vote; your vote is your voice. Choose those who represent your interests.

Voting is good because you know you did something to influence the outcome.

Having the right to vote is one of the most important freedoms we have as citizens. Consider the challenges the next government will face after COVID-19. You want a fairer society? You certainly want to have a say in that. Any law that is passed will affect you personally. After the French Revolution, this freedom was also called “Liberté, égalité, fraternité.”

So liberty, equality, fraternity. May this also apply to the Philippines in May 2022, and I hope more people are convinced to vote.
