Media should profile promising leaders

/ 04:03 AM September 14, 2021

Sila-sila pa rin ba ang tatakbo? Is there a shortage of good leaders in the country?

I believe there are better leaders out there who lead well but quietly, and who have the potential to address the social problems we face today. They just need to be profiled by the media more often.

Unfortunately, in my view, sometimes the press is guilty of selection bias — good leaders are not newsworthy, while bad leaders and their scandals make for good stories.
