More important things to focus on

Helping the needy or feeding the hungry, especially in times of crisis, is obviously not a crime. Thus, those who do such humane and compassionate acts should not be treated like criminals, profiled, red-tagged, or harassed by anyone, let alone by government authorities with the mandate to serve and protect our people.

Don’t we have more important things to do? We should not be distracted from addressing the myriad problems that beset our country, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and China’s illegal incursions in the West Philippine Sea.
