Twin weapons against COVID-19: Avoidance and prevention

There has been a continuing warning/reminder for all and sundry to avoid the onslaught of COVID-19 by strictly complying with health protocols: wearing of face masks/shields, washing/disinfecting of hands, physical distancing, vaccination, etc.

Despite these protocols, however, a lot of people are still defying them, such as people wrongly wearing their masks, which cover their necks and mouths but not the nose; people still mingling with others closely, etc.

The other equally important factor in our fight against COVID-19, which is to prevent the said virus from attacking/overpowering us, has been scarcely disseminated, shared, or communicated. This primarily includes the strengthening of one’s immunity through regular exercise, sunshine exposure, proper diet, sufficient sleep/rest, intake of vitamins (zinc, magnesium, melatonin—as prophylaxis).

The way to beat COVID-19 and decelerate/stop the pandemic is by adapting the mantra of AVOIDANCE AND PREVENTION. One without the other is kaput.
