This is not only for ABS-CBN sympathizers, but for all adherents of the idea of free speech and open communications.
Public officials who believe they have the right to muzzle radio stations and TV channels who offend them, should be shunned in the next elections. Those who initiated, as well as those who supported, the move to deny ABS-CBN its application for the renewal of its franchise — and those whom they will support in the next elections — must be voted down.
The existing franchise holders are now quaking in their boots and fear offending them. These people are enemies of democracy and should be put in their proper place. The list of their names should be circulated.
