Spanish agency funds gender program

This is in reaction to the Sept. 27 column titled “‘Buwaya’ in the limelight,” by Rina Jimenez-David.

I just want to clarify that the funds for the “Regional Program to Promote Gender Equality in Political Participation” are from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and the implementing organization is the NGO Paz y Desarrollo.
