Lito Lapid is in his seventh year as a senator, and his being bereft of schooling is not a valid excuse for him to remain silent in Senate discussions. If I were him, I would go back to school to finish or pursue my studies, instead of giving such an excuse as “… kulang ako sa words dahil hindi ako nag-aral. Kulang din sa basa.”
Senator Lapid, all you need to continue your studies is your money, your guts and your luxury car. You cannot expect your colleagues to act as your interpreters. After all, you are in the Senate and not in the “major, major” Miss Universe pageant.
