Marcoleta puts spirit of party list law to shame

/ 04:02 AM June 22, 2020

I’m appalled by Rep. Rodante Marcoleta’s behavior in attacking ABS-CBN reporter Mike Navallo for reporting the party list representative’s inconsistent positions that were researched from the House public records.

Did not Marcoleta study the principles of the Party-List System Act on accountability before he decided to be a party list congressman?

The Institute for Political and Electoral Reform, along with party list groups like Akbayan, fought hard for the passage of the law to give deprived sectors of society a voice in Congress, but never to use one’s power for bullying and deception. You put the norms of the party list law to shame, Mr. Marcoleta!
