An appeal to Filipino multimillionaires

04:01 AM April 14, 2020

This is an appeal to all Filipino multimillionaires (with P100 million each) and billionaires. The whole nation awaits their generosity. Perhaps they can spare at least 20 percent of their mind-blowing wealth to help in whatever shape, form, or manner many of the people suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic?

If this pandemic gets out of control, they and their families may no longer be around to enjoy any of that wealth. So, really, what is the point of keeping too much of it?

On the other hand, if they are all lucky enough to survive this unprecedented scourge, 20 percent less still leaves them with 80 percent, definitely more than enough to last them and their families many lifetimes. Is that really such a bad deal?
