Very irresponsible move

I fully agree with Justice Antonio Carpio’s views and comments (“Duterte has chosen: Province of China,” 3/5/20).

President Duterte has completely surrendered Philippine sovereignty on the West Philippine Sea, and cannot ignore that the Philippine Navy has no chance whatsoever facing Chinese aircraft carriers.

Communist China is a center of corruption. Is that a coincidence?

We are now advising European bankers, as a consequence, not to invest in the Philippines anymore. That is not favorable to employment, with a negative figure from your editorial of 2.1 million (compared to 2.3 million employed abroad).
