Proposed department just another milking cow
The creation of a Department of Disaster Resilience would be a foolish move that would only establish another failing government agency where the corrupt could siphon off and rob taxpayer money.
Why duplicate the function of a local government unit? Why create versions 2.0 of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Department of National Defense?
We cannot just create and create when our existing systems fail, just because of the incompetence of the people running them.
