Sotto should know better

/ 05:02 AM December 30, 2019

Senate President Tito Sotto claims US senators, who succeeded in placing a provision in their 2020 budget law that bans Philippine government officials involved in the wrongful detention of Sen. Leila de Lima from entering the United States, did so without investigating.

Does Sotto think US senators do not have access to reliable and accurate information regarding the case of De Lima?

Democrat and Republican senators alike know full well how President Duterte, in shameless collaboration with legislators and Supreme Court justices, filed false charges against De Lima after she presented confessed hitman Edgar Matobato and investigated the war on drugs in the Senate.
