One can’t help but recall the times when we had in the Philippine Senate the likes of Recto, Osias, Tañada, Diokno and Salonga. It’s gratifying going over their impressive qualifications, laudable accomplishments and, just as important, their befitting demeanor as senators of the realm.
Today, we have in the Senate: Bato “shit happens” dela Rosa, Bong “absolved” Revilla, Bong “repairman” Go, Lito “naive” Lapid, and, of course, the legendary “Pacman.”
OMG, why this curse on our age?
