Questions on Sanchez’s prison privileges

05:01 AM September 11, 2019

I want to know who is paying for the electricity that rapist/multiple-murderer Antonio Sanchez’s air-conditioned, flatscreen-TV-supplied “kubol” in Bilibid has consumed through the years. Did the heinous-crime convict pay prison officials? And did these officials charge the bill to the agency’s budget? And how, in the first place, was/is he entitled to such luxuries? Surely, former Bureau of Corrections directors Ronald dela Rosa and just-sacked Nicanor Faeldon must know of this travesty. Why did they allow this anomaly? How much was their cut, if there was, from the former mayor’s largesse? And why is the convict still living in relative luxury in contrast to the other inmates?

As a citizen and taxpayer, I demand answers to these questions.
