What about retired MUP?

An Inquirer news report said military and uniformed personnel (MUP) will now get their salary increase as mandated under Joint Resolution No. 1 dated Jan. 1, 2018 (“Rules for higher pay for uniformed men out,” 5/16/19).

The corresponding Department of Budget and Management National Budget Circular No. 576 dated May 14, 2015, was issued to implement the release of the salary hike.

Where is the pension increase for retired MUP under the same resolution?

Sen. Panfilo Lacson denied the allegation of Rep. Rolando Andaya Jr. that the Senate slashed the pension budget for retirees. But it now appears that Andaya is correct.
