Making Filipinos proud

Kudos to former foreign secretary Albert del Rosario and former ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales.

Kayo po ang aming tunay na mga bayani at matatawag na mamamayang Pilipino. Kayo po ay may nagawa. Hindi katulad ng isang kilala natin na sinabi: “Wala na ako magagawa.”

The Filipino people should love you. I am sure a lot of us felt proud, which I have not felt in a long, long time. We should have, at least for this moment, regained our stature in the international community.
