What a news hog
I want to commend the editorial, “Police drama” (3/13/19). Finally someone has noticed and figured out National Capital Region Police Office Director Guillermo Eleazar’s modus operandi.
I have long wanted to point out what I have noticed for months now when watching the news on TV. Every night, Eleazar manages to appear or be in the news. Without fail!
I challenge someone to go back and pinpoint a day when he was not seen or heard. He manages to find himself in every situation, no matter how small or big the news is, and no matter where the incident happened!
He has actually toppled PNP chief Oscar Albayalde who, before him, also landed in the news daily.
What a guy. What an actor. And finally, what a hog for the news he is. He must have his own crew traveling with him all the time.
Why can’t we just have our officials do their jobs without the need to flaunt their achievements?
