Stand against the ‘bully’

05:02 AM February 20, 2019

I would like to comment on Sen. Panfilo Lacson’s statement on the “taho incident” (“Cop gets medal for keeping his cool,” 2/12/19).

I agree with Senator Lacson that the incident is a big issue even if it appears petty to some. I also agree that we need to be united in our stand against this Chinese national for disrespecting a policeman.

Overseas Filipino workers respect and follow the rules and policies set by the countries they are working in. If a Filipino does the same thing, he/she would end up in jail.

The Philippine government must be firm in deporting the woman and ban her from entering the country.

I would like to thank Senator Lacson for making a stand and being vocal on the issue. The good senator is so on point when he said that our voice as a nation must be heard.

Even if our country is small and poor, we should not allow anyone to humiliate and treat us this way. Let us be united and stand against this bully.
