Shameful act

We should be careful on how we treat other people regardless of their nationality, race, age, gender, profession or status in life.

The Chinese woman who threw “taho” at a police officer in the MRT station should receive the right and legal punishment.

She has no right to disrespect police authorities. What she did is proof that she disrespects not only one policeman, but our entire country, by not following our rules and laws.

Our government and its agencies, particularly the Philippine National Police and the Department of Foreign Affairs, should do something about this.

We welcome visitors like her in our country with open arms, so she must give due respect to Filipinos, the authorities and Philippine laws. If we Filipinos follow the law, foreigners should also abide by our laws.

It may not be an issue for some, but her disrespectful and disobedient act is not a good example for many people. It’s shameful.
