Let SSS members choose fund officers
I fully agree with Rudy Coronel that the Social Security System is hopelessly mismanaged (“Continuing mismanagement of SSS,” Letters, 1/16/19).
This sad situation in the financial institution that has been built by employees in the private sector will continue to worsen as long as politicians appoint the key officers of SSS.

The SSS members who are the rightful owners of the fund should be given the right to choose its officers.
