Congratulations Catriona Elisa Gray for being the fourth Filipino to win the crown as Miss Universe!
She was consistent from the start and never let any chance pass to win the hearts of the judges and the entire universe.
I was greatly moved by her answer and admire her view to spread the idea of gratitude in every situation, good or bad.
I hope all of us would get her message that being grateful and positive are prerequisites to achieving peace. Whichever status quo we may belong to, it is important to embrace the value of peace — whether in beauty contests, sports, showbusiness or politics.
If we all could think like Catriona Gray and prioritize uplifting — rather than destroying — the morale and image of the Philippines to the world, we can all unite toward progress.
