Learning from our columnists

I never fail to read Gideon Lasco’s columns for their usually excellent and down-to-earth topics.

His most recent one (“In search of ‘walang kamag-anak,’” 10/18/18) is no different.

With the Philippine midterm elections right around the corner, I am hoping that Filipino voters read that column, for they have a lot to think about in the way they vote, which, they may not realize, does affect their very own future.

To columnist Lasco, please keep up the excellent work. To the Inquirer, congratulations for having excellent columnists who always give your readers something new to learn in life.
