Mocking disabilities

The video of Presidential Communications Operations Office Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson and Drew Olivar mocking the sign language is not new.

Mocking people with disabilities has been the practice of comedians and even those in government.

Discrimination toward the disabled community has, in fact, been worsening.

This administration already neglects its duty to protect the rights of PWDs; it’s also poised to cut the Department of Health’s budget, and that will affect the sector.
