Desperate moves to silence critics

/ 05:14 AM September 13, 2018

In a clear display of desperation to silence his boldest critic, President Duterte now wants Sen. Antonio Trillanes  IV back in jail for a crime which the senator has been legally forgiven for through amnesty.

I had suspected that, one way or the other, Mr. Duterte  would find a way to silence Senator Trillanes’ fierce criticisms of his dictatorial and bullish style of leadership.

Mr. Duterte is a bully only because he’s surrounded by a protective shield of yes-men and obedient subordinates. But Senator Trillanes is not intimidated by him.

Mr. Duterte knows that he has met more than his match in the senator, thus the desire to put him back in jail.

As it is, the Philippines, particularly Metro Manila, has become even more chaotic than ever!
