Mocha’s Nonapology

When President Duterte apologized for Mocha Uson’s faux pas in likening the President’s kiss in South Korea to the video of former senator Ninoy Aquino being kissed, the former acknowledged the impropriety of what Uson did.

Mocha may have her own reason, valid or not, for not apologizing. But after so much uproar, it took the President to publicly apologize on her behalf, though with a caveat:  He could not compel her to do so as it would violate her right to free speech.

Does Mocha not have any sense of civility that, even after the President’s apology, she has remained adamant, refusing to take a cue from her boss? She exemplifies the stubbornness of a spoiled, conceited person. The administration will do well even without her.  She is a pain in the a**.
