I had to adjust and readjust my eyes and spectacles rereading the news, “PH apologizes to Kuwait for mission to rescue maids,” 4/25/18). What in the??!! Because two diplomatic workers posted online videos on “how to escape abusive employers”?
It is pretty obvious that a line has already been crossed. I do not think this government is capable of protecting its citizens — from China occupying our territories, to its nonchalant response to human rights, and to “protecting” migrant workers that, in the first place, it is guilty of encouraging to leave due to lack of opportunities at home.
The pattern we get from this government is very anti-Filipino.
I hope this does not numb but start awakening ordinary Filipinos to question how this government is conducting itself.
