Palawan is a safe place for tourists

For Palaweños, the pronouncement of presidential spokesperson Harry Roque that  the province of Palawan is one of the problematic areas when it comes to terrorism is quite alarming.

I don’t agree with his pronouncement; Roque was probably  talking about the New People’s Army that has been tagged as a terrorist organization by President Duterte.

I support the statement of the spokesperson of the Western Command that the military and interagency task force are on top of the situation.

Recent reports of atrocities allegedly committed by the NPA in the southern part of Palawan did not affect the security in the island. Tourism is still No. 1 in generating income for Palaweños.
