Jesus and death penalty

05:02 AM April 03, 2018

I agree with Pope Francis on death penalty. Think about what Jesus would do. He would be 100 percent against the death penalty. Why?

1) One of the Ten Commandments states: “Thou shalt not kill.”

2) Jesus  saved a woman (accused of adultery) from death penalty. He said that the one who is without sin is the one who should cast the first stone. How can he be for death penalty then?

3) He was himself a victim of the death penalty.
