There are friends who are worse than enemies. The best way to get along with them is to get along without them. You don’t need to hate them because to hate is bad for the health. In fact, you are supposed to love them because to love is good for the soul.
God Himself commands us to forgive and love and even pray for our enemies. This may be the most difficult task for a Christian to do. But, perhaps, loving our enemies from a distance will do. It may still make us feel good.
