New GSIS acts fast on pensioner’s letter

This is in connection with my letter to the Government Service Insurance System regarding  my refund. May I thank the Inquirer for publishing my letter and GSIS president and general manager Robert Vergara for acting on it immediately.

Mabuhay, the new GSIS management! At last, the new management of the GSIS is now compassionate to its elderly pensioners. Thank you, GSIS president and general manager Vergara. I have received my refund, which I received within two weeks after the publication of my letter in this paper.

I had written to the GSIS through the Inquirer during the time of Winston Garcia. For two years I did not receive any answer.

Thank you, Mr. Vergara. May there be more government officials like you under the leadership of President Aquino. May God bless you.
