A most compassionate physician

While many find the services of government hospitals wanting, my family and I wish to commend the Quirino Memorial Medical Center (QMMC), in general, and Dr. Evelyn Victoria E. Reside, in particular.  We find her to be a most considerate, caring, understanding and compassionate person.

Last July 4, 2011, we rushed my septuagenarian brother, Orlando Javier, to QMMC, He had a cardiovascular attack.

The solicitous staff immediately attended to his needs in the emergency room.  After his condition stabilized, he was moved to a room and was monitored constantly.

Unfortunately, despite the earnest efforts of the staff, my brother succumbed to pneumonia two weeks later.

While we grieve over the loss of our brother, we will be forever grateful to the hospital for the wonderful care it extended to him in his hours of need.

The hospital’s concern and caring attitude assuage our grief and rekindled our faith in the kindness of men. This is our way of giving credit where it is due.

Thank you QMMC!
