GSIS replies to retiree’s letter
This refers to the letter of Claro Q. Esoen of Mountain Province that was published in the Inquirer last Dec. 22 (“Retiree appeals to GSIS”), regarding the “accrual and effectivity” of his monthly pension.
After close coordination with operating units concerned, GSIS reprocessed Esoen’s retirement claim together with the accrual of his monthly pension, on Dec. 28, 2017. The proceeds of his claim will be electronically credited to his Land Bank of the Philippines account.
Further, the succeeding old-age pension will be released and e-credited to his account every eighth day of the month for as long as he is an active pensioner.
Article continues after this advertisementThank you for the opportunity to present the actions taken by GSIS on Esoen’s concern.
I would also like to thank Esoen for watching the “GSIS Member’s Hour,” which discusses the pension fund’s new policies and programs for the benefit of our more than two million members and pensioners.
