Are our government leaders on a rampage?

/ 05:10 AM January 05, 2018

Why are our leaders slow in comprehending the people’s need for human rights? Is it because they have their own preferences in interpretation and therefore fail to be honest because of selfish ambition and unrestrained greed?

The sad fact is that the habit of lying, cheating, stealing and killing is now rampant obviously because the powerful rich are exploiting and manipulating the poor weak. Receiving bribes from the wealthy as reward is why leaders stray into clever adventurism. It’s elementary. Specifically, the powerful rich are tempting the leaders to follow their example because they don’t want to lose  their power and wealth. It is actually a conspiracy which makes evil stay. In short, leaders allow the exploitation.

The Filipino people are aware and sensitive of this deterioration and decadence. If leaders will not lose their dignity, they must guard against being influenced to do evil. But it remains because the temptation is difficult to resist!

It is discouraging that we elected highly educated leaders who have become exclusively mental in their thinking and doing. They behave more like machines with error-prone tendencies. How can they consider themselves religious and democratic when leaders have become neurotic? Don’t we need reforms because of our incorrigibility?! We don’t even have psychological tests in our systems and methods. Lying, cheating, stealing and killing in widespread crazed behavior are clearly of Western colonial influence! In short, we have all become dishonest!
