Retiree appeals to GSIS

I occasionally watch the program “GSIS Hour” on the government channel. I wanted to call the program hosts but there are no phone lines in the mountains of Cordillera. I thought that I can pass this message to GSIS in Manila through Reader’s Advocate in the Inquirer.

I’m 65, I was born on April 3, 1952, and retired from government service on April 4, 2017. I would like to know the status of my accrual and the effectivity of my monthly pension. It would seem that my application has been disregarded since I filed it eight months ago.

For this Christmas, I wish that my case will be given immediate action.
