45 years of failure

Why do our government leaders still fail to deliver true justice and equality to poor Filipinos who have been suffering in silence? Isn’t it yet clear that the wealthy in high society have been allowed to fool the people since 1972 to 2017 with political bribes for their own evil purposes? That is how long our leaders have failed us.

Are we still unaware that our established systems and methods were cleverly geared to malfunction just to allow the ambition and greed of our presidents and their minions in the past 45 years to exploit the situation for their own selfish advantage and gain?

In fact, the people were never consulted over their rights to receive honest “public service”! Public coffers have been left to the minions to exploit for their masters’ gain. Government lawyers have neglected their duties and responsibilities and have been serving their patrons’ self-enrichment.

The decent few who stood up to correct the wrongs must be recognized to encourage their heroism. But the sad fact remains that our economic-political situation has been in the dark for the past 45 years.
