There is something gnawing at my conscience that bothers me and this is about saving Planet Earth.
God has created many wonderful things for us but we don’t seem to learn to use them well. On the contrary, we seem to have a nonchalant attitude, unmindful of what we are doing that veer toward its destruction. And this brings me to the problem of plastics.
I heard on TV that by the year 2050 or so, our waters will have more plastic than fish. True or not, this gave me the idea on how to turn the problem of plastic into a solution. I am quite certain that we have no shortage of bright boys or inventors that can invent an incinerator to convert smoke of burnt plastic into a mist, the smoke having been collected into a dome to prevent its escape to the atmosphere. The mist will eventually transform into water to fall on good Planet Earth. Crazy idea? Maybe, but the likes of Steve Jobs have invented the iPhone or iPad that revolutionized the digital world.
Perhaps your paper would want to put an ad calling for people to invent the incinerator.
