‘Island’ of garbage

05:01 AM October 16, 2017

The indiscriminate daily dumping of trash on the center island of Tripa de Gallina Bridge along Gil Puyat Avenue remains unabated. Tons of garbage are strewn all over the place before and even after completion of a steel fence meant to deter litterbugs from dumping on the creek.

Proper sanitation and cleanliness should be observed since Gil Puyat Avenue is a major thoroughfare in Metro Manila. Makati or Pasay city officials should apprehend and penalize these law offenders.

Let’s discipline our citizens or constituents and teach them the proper way of disposing of their garbage.
