The controversy surrounding Comelec Chair Andres Bautista on his alleged unexplained wealth, as exposed by his wife, should be thoroughly investigated by both houses of Congress.
The bone of contention here is the hidden wealth issue and not the marital conflict between the Bautista couple.
As a consequence, the controversy over the result of the vice presidential race between Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo is now in question with bribery coming into the picture.
Let the people decide on who is rightly or wrongly accused.
Chairman Bautista should bear in mind that “a public office is a public trust.”
