Useless LRT escalators

Calling the attention of the LRT administration regarding two unserviceable escalators in the C.M. Recto station in Manila.

For almost a year now, the escalators have remained unrepaired, forcing all commuters to use the steep staircase to get to the station. Senior citizens, especially, have a hard time climbing the stairs, leaving them gasping for breath upon reaching the top.

Also out of service are the escalators at the Doroteo Jose station on the other side of the connecting bridge of the LRT along Rizal Avenue.

By leaving these escalators in their present state of disrepair, the LRT management deprives every day thousands of commuters of excellent service, leaving them dissatisfied and frustrated.
