‘Fisherman’s Wharf’ in P’que

Passing along the Coastal Road southbound to Cavite, motorists won’t fail to notice the dilapidated and decrepit condition of a once-thriving wet market in Parañaque at the edge of Manila Bay.

Why don’t the city government of Parañaque or some business group resuscitate and renovate this market-place into another tourist attraction in Metro Manila, as it was before? Like a mini version of a Fisherman’s

Wharf where people from Metro Manila and neighboring cities down south could avail of fresh fish catch?

Aside from helping the lowly fishermen in the area augment their daily earnings, an added attraction could be the establishment of restaurants offering Dampa-style eating.
