‘Hakot’ crowd in uniform T-shirts

/ 12:26 AM March 02, 2017

Last Saturday evening, Feb. 25, Edsa 1 anniversary day, I went through the crowd at Luneta. There were numerous buses and jeepneys parked on the roadside reaching far down Roxas Boulevard.

Groups of people in uniform T-shirts walked about. According to Rina Jimenez-David, there was a memo from the Department of the Interior and Local Government directing local government units to send delegations to the pro-Duterte demonstration. Obviously this was at government expense.

With commonsense savvy, my driver said, “Hakot! Pera ng Bayan!”
