Appreciated letter

/ 12:14 AM February 23, 2017

This refers to the letter titled “IPs most affected by mining” (Opinion, 2/17/17). This is one most appreciated letter.

May I humbly add that mining, in whatever form or shape, is and will be most destructive to our Mother Earth, let alone the denuding of forest that results in floods and contributes heavily to climate change.

It will take centuries for Nature to restore its former glory for the survival of human race and other creatures.
